Definition
Terrorism is an act of frustration. Most of the time it is an act used in a last resort to relieve these frustrations. This is especially common when it is a terrorist acting outside of an organization. These “Lone Wolf” terrorist attacks are very commonly due to frustration by this individual. A lot of times social isolation from the rest of society can be a catalyst to this frustration. With being away from society can cause a slight dehumanization of a political group, ethnicity, or religious group. Extremism is a large proponent in the motivation by “Lone Wolf” terrorism. Extremist ideas and values drive these individuals to commit such extremist acts. This extreme hatred and frustration can transcend a regular person into a terrorist. Obviously, this is not an overnight process. Taking years at times for these people adopting extremist terrorists to the point they even think about acting on their extremist views. But, in their times with extremist views, if they do not see change they lead closer to doing something. With years of not seeing the change they want to see in society they get so frustrated they finally act upon it. This frustration creates terrorism.
